Gothia Towers & Upper House, Gothenburg

Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were small and basic for a four-star establishment, but they did offer a lovely view, comfortable bed, ample storage space, good lighting arrangements, and even included some nice extras like champagne. The service was a rollercoaster, with some staff members being unfriendly and unaccommodating, while others were incredibly helpful and went the extra mile. The location was very convenient for exploring different parts of the city, but it also seemed to attract a certain crowd. Dining was enjoyable with some specific highlights, but there were a few drawbacks. Overall, the facilities met basic expectations but didn't particularly stand out.

The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with a nice view and very comfortable beds, though they could benefit from a bit of modernization. The shower experience was exceptional. The service was friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast waitresses. The location is central with fantastic views from the SkyLine Rooms, making it convenient for exploring Gothenburg. Overall, the hotel offers a good value for its price point, but attention to detail in certain areas could enhance the overall experience.

The hotel's rooms, although not overly large, are typical for Sweden. They were a bit cold despite my efforts to adjust the temperature and particularly chilly in the bathroom. The overall facilities are a bit outdated, and being close to a noisy ice-making machine was a drawback that affected the room ambiance.
