Gothia Towers & Upper House Hotel Gothenburg, Gothenburg

Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were small and basic for a four-star establishment, but they did offer a lovely view, comfortable bed, ample storage space, good lighting arrangements, and even included some nice extras like champagne. The service was a rollercoaster, with some staff members being unfriendly and unaccommodating, while others were incredibly helpful and went the extra mile. The location was very convenient for exploring different parts of the city, but it also seemed to attract a certain crowd. Dining was enjoyable with some specific highlights, but there were a few drawbacks. Overall, the facilities met basic expectations but didn't particularly stand out.

The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with a nice view and very comfortable beds, though they could benefit from a bit of modernization. The shower experience was exceptional. The service was friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast waitresses. The location is central with fantastic views from the SkyLine Rooms, making it convenient for exploring Gothenburg. The dining experience was good but could be enhanced with more variety. The facilities are well kept and enjoyable.

The hotel has very comfy beds, but the conference hall extension was busy and not very cozy. It was a little dusty, yet the staff were uniformly excellent and always went out of their way to please. The location is perfect for visiting Liseberg amusement park, and the rooftop bar offers stunning city views. The hotel's location is great, opposite Liseberg and close to the highway, and overlooking the Liseberg theme park. My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though feeling a bit cold initially, were fine overall and offered spacious accommodation with excellent city views. Yet, a few minor issues included the lack of daily replenishment for milk/creamer and mini bar restocking. The location was excellent, being right next to Liseberg amusement park and within walking distance of Avenyn and many restaurants. The dining experience had plenty of food options, although some improvements could make the breakfast service smoother. Overall, the hotel offers a good value for its price point, but attention to detail in certain areas could enhance the overall experience.

The hotel's rooms, although not overly large, are typical for Sweden. They were a bit cold despite my efforts to adjust the temperature and particularly chilly in the bathroom. The overall facilities are a bit outdated, and being close to a noisy ice-making machine was a drawback that affected the room ambiance.
